Our lake is the heart of the community - open to members year-round for fishing, boating, paddling, and swimming at the designated beach. The association manages water quality and fish stocking every season.

The lake holds bass, crappie, bluegill, and channel cat. Catch-and-release is encouraged for bass over 18 inches. A current member fishing tag is required and included with your dues.

The May derby is the community's oldest tradition - weigh-ins at the pavilion, prizes for the kids, and a summer of bragging rights for the big one.

All watercraft - boats, pontoons, kayaks, and paddleboards - must display a current Cedar Shores sticker. Register online: upload a photo of your boat and proof of insurance, the board approves it, and your sticker is ready at the ramp box. No more office visits.

Guest boats require a temporary permit, available from any board member through the portal.

The sandy beach by the pavilion is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, dawn to dusk. No lifeguard on duty - children must be accompanied by an adult.

Carts and UTVs are welcome on community roads with a current cart tag. Register online the same way you register a boat. Drivers must hold a valid license.

Kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards get the same sticker as powerboats and the best hours of the day - early mornings when the lake is glass and the herons are working the shallows. The no-wake hours before 10am are made for paddlers.
